Guariche, Pierre

Student of René Gabriel to the school of the decorative arts, Pierre Guariche does a training of two years with Marcel Gascoin where he meets Michel Mortier and Joseph-André Motte. He installs himself to his account in 1951 and is quickly overflowed work. He develops then between 1953 and 1957 with M. Mortier and J-A Motte, « l’atelier de recherche plastique » (ARP). Rewarded for his work on numerous occasions, as prestigious prize René Gabriel in 1965, he is considered today as spearhead of this young generation of decorators emerging at the beginning of 1950s.
